I am a diligent, imaginative, and self-motivated Veteran with over a decade of experience in graphic design, copywriting, and content writing. I have successfully managed my own freelance graphic design business, Ink Dog Inc., and a pet transportation service, Rover Pet Caravan Co. My technical expertise includes proficiency in HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. During my service in the Navy as an E-4, I handled avionics repair and fulfilled flight crew duties, gaining valuable technical support and computer repair skills. Currently pursuing an Associate degree in Digital Design at Pierce College.
In addition to my current pursuits, I am actively seeking an internship opportunity in graphic design or digital design. This will not only fulfill the requirements for my graduation credits, but also allow me to apply my skills in a practical setting. I am particularly interested in opportunities that allow me to establish professional ties and further network within the industry. I am especially drawn to inclusive businesses and those that support and advocate for the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I believe that such an environment would be mutually beneficial, allowing me to contribute my creative skills while learning from the diverse perspectives of my peers.
